it's become evident i express myself more through poems. here goes.
time stood still
for just one moment
i stood rooted, against my will
silently standing, a dreadful torment
nothing seemed to move
it all stood still
there was no joy or love
nothing, no feelings till..
i saw you walking
you walked right on by
and as i stood there watching
i wondered why
why it seemed like i couldnt move
why it seemed i was doomed to stay
why it seemed like your life was smooth
why this naggy feeling never went away
i tried to move
but i was stuck
as the whole world got to motion
there i was, having the toughest luck
then it dawned on me
the whole world has moved on
i am but a casualty
in this horrible horrible town
